Mexican Cheesy Goodness

Gavacho Dip


1 tablespoon butter

1 pinch cumin

4 oz green chilies, chopped

1 cup canned tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1/2 pound Velveeta Pepper Jack cheese, cubed

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

2 oz cream cheese

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped


Directions: Microwave butter, onion, and garlic on high until butter melts. Add cumin, tomatoes, Pepper Jack cheese, and green chiles. cover with plastic wrap (leaving vent) and microwave on high until melted, stirring frequently. Add cream cheese and black pepper and cook 1 minute. Stir and cook 1 minute. Stir in cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
