Turkey Lurkey

The plan for Christmas dinner was ham and turkey, but the turkey hadn't defrosted. Yep, that's right. Frozen solid on Christmas morning. So we had ham, which turned out to be plenty. The up side--we got to have turkey tonight. IT WAS DELICIOUS!

Turkey Recipe

1 onion, quartered
1 lemon, quartered
4-6 cloves of garlic, whole
4-5 sprigs of fresh rosemary

(These 4 items placed inside turkey)

4-6 cups of water in pan.

1 stick of butter rubbed over skin, sprinkle with salt and pepper

Bake at 325 degrees for 4 hours (for a 14-16 lb. turkey)
