Pour first three items over ice. Shake. Pour into martini glass. Enjoy, but beware, these little babies will sneak up on you and bite you in the you know what!

Turkey Lurkey

The plan for Christmas dinner was ham and turkey, but the turkey hadn't defrosted. Yep, that's right. Frozen solid on Christmas morning. So we had ham, which turned out to be plenty. The up side--we got to have turkey tonight. IT WAS DELICIOUS!

Turkey Recipe

1 onion, quartered
1 lemon, quartered
4-6 cloves of garlic, whole
4-5 sprigs of fresh rosemary

(These 4 items placed inside turkey)

4-6 cups of water in pan.

1 stick of butter rubbed over skin, sprinkle with salt and pepper

Bake at 325 degrees for 4 hours (for a 14-16 lb. turkey)

It's a Blue Blue Christmas

The colors this year are blue, white, and silver--with a little gold thrown in here and there. I was going to do blue last year, but for some reason changed my mind. I shouldn't have. I really like the blue--it feels very wintery. The santa tree topper came from Mission Road Antique Mall for only 6 bucks! Win!

Festive, huh?

This is just one of my creations this year. Sleds are the easiest thing to decorate.

Christmas at Donna's

Welcome to my good friend Donna's house. She invited me over, and allowed me to showcase her holiday decorations. Enjoy!
