Spring Fling

I am trying to will spring to arrive. There is still snow on the ground, but I think this will help the temperatures warm up and bring on the spring buds and flowers.

On this table, I have used vintage and Post-86 Fiesta and Harlequin, mostly in pastel shades. I found the napkins, the tablecloth, the bunny egg cups, and other non-Fiesta items at thrift stores. It is a wonder what people get rid of, and thankfully, I am there to snatch it up and put it to good use.

I was trying to find shades of Fiesta that reminded me of Easter egg colors because that says Spring to me.

The candle holder is actually for a taper, but I found votive holders that would fit in the holder.

A flower for each guest sits in front of the placesetting.

The Apricot teapot was an unexpected find in a thrift store. SCORE!

Each placesetting has a different color scheme. Here we have dinner plate in Tangerine, salad plate in p-86 Rose, and bowl in Lemongrass.

Dinner Plate-Lilac, salad plate in tangerine, bowl in P-86 Rose.

Dinner plate in Turquoise, salad plate in P-86 Rose, and bowl in Tangerine.

Dinner plate in P-86 Rose, salad plate in Peacock, and bowl in sunflower.

And just so you can see the bunny egg cups, which I LOVE, I took a picture of the front of each placesetting.

I made a little Spring flower out of my Harlequin toy creamers. These are vintage.

This sugar and creamer is not made by Homer Laughlin, but I really like them. The handle has a little sculpted fairy on both of them.

Can you see her face?

Side view of the fairy with her wings.

The apricot tablecloth was a thrift store find. Don't hate me, but it was only 3 bucks! Yes, I know!
Also, I don't iron if I don't have to, so this was almost wrinkle free (just had folding creases), so it goes on the table.

This table just sings, "Spring is here!". I love all the bright colors. Very clever design with the creamers, and what is each individual flower in? Different shaped vases? They are wonderful. I hope spring is rapidly approaching for you. You're ready! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

Well hello One Dish Dude! Besides loving the name of your blog, I'm enjoying your spring table!

Right now I'm putting together a round up of all the spring tables from the Scoop Spring Bash and you'll be included.

I'd love to have you link to my weekly party, Seasonal Sundays. The link goes up Saturdays at 7 pm EST. Hope to see you there!
