A Purple Fall Tablescape

My friend Monica challenged me to do a fall tablescape using shades of purple, NO ORANGE allowed. While I am not actually sure the flowers can be considered fall, I think it works.

The Fiesta salt and pepper shakers are lilac, one of my very favorite post-86 retired colors.

This vase is the part of the Fiesta millennium series in chartreuse.

My favorite owl salt and pepper shakers. They are sculptural and useful.

I used my Johnson Brothers salad plates on various Fiesta shades of purple. This one is Heather.

The purple goblets are my thrifty find. I got them at a church garage sale, and they are Waterford. The price? Only 5 bucks!

The chartreuse vase is inside a Fiesta Heather presentation bowl.

The water pitcher is another garage sale find. It is Blenko glass. Very pretty!

The linens are from Target, I believe.

Happy non-traditional fall!

I am sharing at Cuisine Kathleen and Between Naps on the Porch.

What a great idea to use your Johnson Bros. plates with your purple dishes! They really make your table scream "fall". You've fulfilled the challenge, I believe! Good job.......Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
You met the challenge very well! I've always liked Plenko glass objects. The lilac Fiesta S&P shakers are cute- what a great color! The dish mix looks great and the stemware is very pretty! This was a extra challenge to meet especially without orange tones for fall!
It never ceases to amaze me what people donate at a thrift store Those waterford glasses are gorgeous! Purple is one of my favorite colors so I am really liking your table! The fiesta is really sweet too, love the pop of color it adds.
Wait, Blenko & Waterford at yard sales? I want to go yard saling with you! I need some purple Fiesta, love yours. Great table. Love your "never met a dish I didn't like", how true. :)

One Dish Dude,
I am quite smitten with your amethyst Waterford goblets!!!
The subtle shades of purple in your print tablecloth nicely sets the stage for your tablescape!
Touches of green and gold keep the purple from becoming too dominant and allow the eyes to easily move around the tablescape!
Well done!!!
Fondly,
Pat

My first visit here but not my last! Love your take on the Purple challenge. I love Fiesta but don't have a lot of it so will be following you now to enjoy your dishes! Love the pop of green!
hugs,
