12-12-12

At 12:12 my students pointed out that it was 12:12 on 12-12-12.  Wow.  Then, at 12:13 one of them said I made a wish that I know is going to come true. GASP!!!!!!!!!!!  A wish, nobody mentioned making a wish. I didn't make a wish. Now, what am I going to do? How will I ever win that Powerball jackpot?

With that said, and in honor of the special day, here are a few lists of 12 things. I was going to do 12 lists, but then, I thought that might be overkill.

With all due respect...Christmas isn't Christmas without Loretta Lynn's 'Country Christmas'! Growing up, my sister and I wanted 'pallets on the floor' soooo bad--we did not even know what they were. My Uncie played it nonstop at the holidays, and loved it when 'his girls' sang it together on Christmas Day. Uncie died this year, so this Christmas will be tough...but that song IS Christmas, to me (boy, this comment went downhill fast, huh? Sad!).

Amy, I am sure I have heard that song since I am from Oklahoma, so I will have to check it out. I do love me some Loretta Lynn!
