Countdown to Halloween!

Halloween is a holiday all about fun...and sugar! What's not to like?

While I rarely use orange in my decorating, I go "whole-hog" when it comes to Halloween. I look at my decorations, and I think, yes, I think I can squeeze 12 more pumpkins in there.

This tablescape uses tangerine, sunflower, and poppy Fiesta, as well as vintage yellow.

I found these striped glasses at a First Fridays antique weekend and loved them. They coordinate nicely with Fiesta. If you are ever in Kansas City during the first weekend of the month, be sure to check out First Fridays (really it is the whole weekend) in the West Bottoms antiquing district.

There is so much to see and do. You will find many bargains and have a blast. And, did I mention there are FOOD TRUCKS??? Yes, my favorite is the Crave truck.  Yummmmmm!

This overhead view kind of disorients me. I am not sure why I took the photo at this angle, but it gives you a glimpse of the whole table.

The tablecloth came from a thrift store. I rarely buy new linens. I prefer garage sales, estates sales and thrift stores.

See those black napkins? Here is a little secret--they aren't really napkins. I have discovered Hobby Lobby sells hankerchiefs for 99 cents apiece. You can have a multitude of colors and change them with every tablescape.

Happy Halloween and Happy Tablescaping! Now, go scare up some dishing fun of your own.

I am sharing at Between Naps on the Porch.

This is a joyful table to say the least! I'd have bought those striped glasses, too, as they will add a touch of fun to many a table. Thanks for the handkerchief tip.
Yes! This is Halloween for sure! Love this table!
