Here comes Fall and Fall tablescapes!

This tablescape has a tan tablecloth topped with a vintage lace cloth. I tried to mix golds, browns, and burgundy.
I mixed Homer Laughlin Ironstone, Amberstone and Cinnabar, plus some vintage glassware.  Pumpkins, gourds, and fall flowers top it all off.

Hello there, Mr. One Dish Dude! I love your blog name! This is my first visit to your blog via Tablescape Thursday. I've never seen you here before, and it's nice to see a new face...and a new creative mind! I love the mix of rich fall colors here. I particularly like how you made the gold the primary...it has a lot of zing to it! The deeper colors just do their job to enhance it. Very nice! I read your "About Me" blurb, and you are a neighbor...sort of. I live in the Kansas City, MO area (Lee's Summit to be exact). Our home is just about 15 minutes from the Kansas state line, so I'm over there shopping... a lot!!! I mean A LOT!!!!!!!!! I can also relate to the paper plate thing. Not a fan. My Mom was a career woman before being a career woman was cool, and she did NOT want to fool with dinner dishes. I can remember eating from the really drab & dreary melamine of the time (1960s) and thinking that I would NEVER eat from melamine or paper plates when I grew up. I stuck to that until they started making all these great patterns in melamine and I just HAD to have some. Jury's still out on the paper stuff for me. Not my favorite by ANY stretch of the imagination!!! Well, neighbor, it's great to find you here. I look forward to seeing future posts, especially tablescapes which I love so much. Take care, and have a great weekend! (I hear a storm is headed this way on Saturday, so take cover! :-))
